“Castrol Optigear Synthetic™ 800 Range (formerly known as Tribol™ 800) was developed to meet the performance requirements of oil-lubricated gearboxes, bearings and bushings operating at high temperatures and under high loads.
They differ from mineral oils in the following characteristics: – High oxidation stability, even at high temperatures. – High viscosity index, without the use of viscosity improvers.
Castrol Optigear Synthetic™ 800 is manufactured using the highest quality polyglycol base stocks.
Castrol Optigear Synthetic™ 800 is available in viscosity grades ranging from ISO VG 100 to ISO VG 1000.
The Castrol Optigear Synthetic™ 800 Range is a CLP-PG oil in accordance with DIN 502 and exceeds the minimum requirements for CLP oils as specified in DIN 51517, T.3.
