OIL HPL OPTIGEAR SYNTHETIC 1510/320

Optigear Synthetic™ 1510/320 synthetic gearbox oils (formerly known as Tribol™ 1510/ 320) incorporate TGOA® additive technology and represent a significant advance in the development of gearbox oils .
TGOA® is an oil-soluble additive package developed to reduce friction whilst providing protection and improving surface properties.
The TGOA® additive package outperforms EP and anti-wear additives due to its unique action on surfaces under friction.
The synthetic base fluid in Optigear Synthetic™ 1510/320 oils is a polyalphaolefin and they can be used within an operating temperature range of –45°C to +120°C.
They are compatible with sealing materials and paints, and are also suitable for use in contact with mineral oils.
Blended with the Optigear Synthetic™ 1510/320 oils is the latest additive technology known as TGOA®.
The TGOA® additive package is activated by high specific loads and the corresponding temperatures, triggering a physico-chemical reaction which smooths out surface roughness at the microgeometric level without causing abrasion.
This process can be compared to a rolling process.
Surface roughness is gradually levelled out and smoothed.
By smoothing the surfaces during operation, the bearing’s load-bearing area is increased.
