OIL ALPHASYN OG 6800

Castrol Alphasyn™ OG 6800 is a heavy-duty, extra-high-viscosity lubricant, primarily intended for use in gears and bearings subjected to heavy loads and low speeds, where boundary lubrication conditions may prevail.
It is formulated from wax-free synthetic base oils that offer exceptional thermal oxidation properties and excellent low-temperature flow.
The combination of a naturally high viscosity index and a unique additive system enables OG 6800 to deliver exceptional performance under extreme operating conditions, at both high and low temperatures.
The base oils have intrinsically low drag properties, which results in low fluid friction in the load-bearing zone of non-conforming surfaces, such as gears.
The reduction in fluid friction leads to lower operating oil temperatures and improves gear efficiency.
Alphasyn OG 6800 is solvent-free.
