GREASE HPL TRIBOL GR 4020/220-2 PD

Tribol GR 4020 PD greases (formerly Castrol Tribol™ 4020) are formulated with highly refined mineral oil, a complex lithium-based thickener, and the Tribol Grease Oil Additive (TGOA) additive system, advanced additive technology to reduce friction and improve surface finish. These multi-service greases are designed to extend the service life of bearings subjected to high loads and high temperatures. Due to the ability to withstand shock load, anti-wear and the ability to reduce friction, Tribol GR 4020 PD exceeds the properties of conventional complex greases due to its advanced TGOA additive technology. This technology allows a non-destructive smoothing of surface roughness. This smoothing allows for reduced friction and increased capacity to withstand higher loads. If surface roughness peaks reappear, due to shock loads or continuous stop-and-start operations, the TGOA additive technology will be automatically activated, allowing surface smoothing again and thus optimizing lubrication.
