GREASE HPL TRIBOL GR 3020/1000-00 PD

Castrol Tribol™ GR 3020/1000 PD (formerly Tribol 3020/1000) is a range of greases formulated from highly refined petroleum base oils, a lithium thickener and the Tribol grease oil additive (TGOA).
The TGOA additive package outperforms all other extreme pressure (EP) and anti-wear (AW) additives thanks to its unique action on friction surfaces.
Base oils are high-viscosity mineral oils that form a stable lubricating film to withstand continuous high loads, shock loads and vibrations.
The TGOA additive package is activated by high specific loads and corresponding temperatures, causing a physicochemical reaction.
This results in a uniformity of surface roughness without generating abrasion.
The results of TGOA additives can be compared to a micro-scale rolling process.
Surface roughness is gradually leveled and smoothed.
By smoothing work surfaces, loads are distributed over larger and larger areas, and load-bearing areas are expanded.
During break-in, the TGOA additive package creates an optimal, smooth contact surface.
If, due to impact loads or intermittent operation, surface roughness peaks occur, TGOA additives are automatically reactivated.
Surface roughness is equalized again and lubrication is optimized.
Corrosion and oxidation inhibitors help to maximize rust protection and grease life.
The Tribol GR 3020/1000 PD range contains NLGI consistency grades commonly available for this type of lubricant.
