GREASE HPL MOLUB-ALLOY OG 936 SF HEAVY SPRAY
Castrol Molub-Alloy™ OG 936 SF Heavy Spray (formerly known as Molub-Alloy™ 936 SF Heavy Spray) is an open gear lubricant developed specifically for use on heavy equipment in industrial and mining operations.
Molub-Alloy OG 936 SF Heavy is designed to provide maximum protection for equipment and sliding elements on large draglines and shovels, while minimizing the emission of potential contaminants into the environment.
It includes a proprietary blend of Molub-Alloy solid lubricants to enhance anti-wear and load-bearing properties.
These solid lubricants work in synergy with anti-wear and extreme pressure (EP) chemical additives to reduce contact temperatures, while providing excellent anti-weld protection under extreme pressures and shock loads.
The integrity and structural strength of the lubricating film are particularly important in the critical process of settling new equipment due to the natural appearance of raised areas (roughness) on the machined surfaces.
The lubricating film must separate the contact surfaces sufficiently to attenuate the impact of roughness and thus minimize the initial resistance that could lead to progressive and destructive resistance.
It is composed of a highly refined and viscous paraffinic petroleum derivative, which creates a base fluid mixture with excellent natural thermal and chemical stability.
Molub-Alloy OG 936 SF Heavy is designed to flow properly during lubricating film formation, resist crushing, and tenaciously adhere even to gear teeth in an upright position.
The formulation includes oxidation and corrosion inhibitors to protect the equipment and lubricating film from extreme environmental conditions.
