GREASE HPL MOLUB-ALLOY 243 ARCTIC
Castrol Molub-Alloy™ 243 Arctic grease is designed for use in plain and bearing bearings that operate in environments with temperatures below zero, down to -35 °C.
For effective lubrication at very low temperatures, a fundamental requirement of grease is that it remains soft and flexible, especially in rolling element bearings.
A rigid grease in anti-friction bearings can impede the bearing during start-up or cause slippage during operation, which could lead to damage and premature failure.
Equally important for greases in very cold regions is the ability to protect against corrosion.
As temperatures descend from daytime operation to night frosts, air moisture rushes onto metal surfaces cooled.
Bearings subjected to large temperature fluctuations are particularly prone to corrosive attack.
Molub-Alloy 243 Arctic grease meets these demanding requirements as a truly versatile grease for Transport and industrial operations in very cold environments.
The high-quality base oils and thickening system used in Molub-Alloy 243 Arctic Grease were selected for their combined ability to maintain good working consistency over a wide range of temperatures.
The product is protected against oxidation and, in particular, against corrosion, one of the main risks of the low-temperature service for which it was designed
